Marc Frédérix was employed as an assistant decorator on LA RONDE (1950) and MADAME DE… (1953), both directed by Max Ophuls. He continued to work as a set decorator, art director and production designer in a career that spanned thirty-seven years. This 1989 interview was conducted in Paris by Martina Müller.
