Working with Fassbinder: Renate Leiffer on »Fear of Fear«
Based on a story by Asta Scheib, FEAR OF FEAR (1975) features Fassbinder favourite Margit Carstensen as a young mother plagued with feelings of anxiety and depression as she is left to spend her hours alone surrounded by her judgemental in-laws while her husband spends his days at work. This is another interview with Fassbinder’s trusted assistant director, Renate Leiffer, who took time to look back on the making of this film which was shot in Cologne.
